Care of the Sphynx Cat and Kittens

The Sphynx cat is an indoor cat, due to its lack of hair it will feel the cold and also be sensitive to over exposure to the sun.

The Sphynx cat will need to be bathed, but there is no hard and fast rule as to how often.  Some sphynx cats will need to be bathed once a week, whilst others will only need bathing once every few months.

Sphynx Cats ears will need cleaning, again how often depends on the individual. Use baby wipes or damp cotton wool and cotton buds, do not push too far down the ear.  Ear cleaner can also be used to remove wax.

Sphynx Cats nails can be clipped if required and a scratching post should always be supplied for them to use.

Sphynx cats like something warm to cuddle up to, a heat pad is a good idea for when they cant be on your lap!
